Electrical Power Adaptors
Electical power outlets in Malaysia follow the same standard as adopted in UK. so, if you already have a power adaptor for UK it can be used in Malaysia as well. (a limited number of power adaptors will be available on short loan from the Conference Registration Desk if you need to charge your laptop battery but for extended use you need to provide your own adaptor)
Airport Transfers
Hotels do provide airport transfers but these are more expensive than regular taxis. You are well advised to book a REGULAR taxi at a counter that you will find just as you leave the Luggage Hall and BEFORE you leave the secure area and enter the Arrival Hall. The counters accept credit cards so you do not need cash to make the booking. Please ask for a regular taxi (that leave from Door 3) and not the limousine as the latter will cost you much more for only a slightly more comfortable car. The taxis are a very good value. The price should be around 70 Ringgit for the journey of some 70 km (45 min ride)
